I heard before that a higher speed meant higher percentage chance for a "Super Critical" hit... If this is true does anyone know the amount that it is affected? Does an extra 100 on speed increase chances by 1%? 10%? 25%?
While we're on the topic does anyone know the base % chance of a critical hit? And what, if any, other factors are there?

Uken hasn't given us that specific info. Super critical hits are limited to speed titans. I believe its close to 900 speed to max % chance. But speed titans still don't do more damage than an attack base titan even if it super critical hits. Only reason to use speed titans is if you have a specific reason to use it in the coliseum to pull it out charged with the tactic card.
That's the best info I've got on this topic. Hope it helps a little. Cheers

I remember many months ago when I first started playing, back before the current Rolodex and graphics, before runes or ethereal Titans came out, back when you could only enhance trams with their specific materials, the speed stat was described as 'attacks strength multiplier' and 'improves chances of a critical attack'. This was before the iPhone 6 come out and on my iPhone 4 I had the graphics were slow enough to see 'critical' on the Titans when you hit them. So, in a very long winded way (lol) I'm saying that unless they've changed that then, yes, speed increases chances for a critical hit. I wasn't even sure if critical hits existed anymore, tbh.

Speed does increase critical hit chance. I can't read the critical but I see it flash red. Omly on speed based titans can you get a super critical hit. Also speed ignores armor from what I was told by the old school players.
